Program Description

Lisa Michel of Keathing, Muething & Klekamp, PLC will present an update on qualified and non-qualified retirement plans. This will include the HEART Act, PPA technical corrections and the Emergency Economic Stabilization Act of 2008. 

A health and welfare plan update will cover wellness programs, the Mental Health Parity Act and state laws on mandatory coverage.

This membership organization is for those who have earned the Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS), Group Benefits Associate (GBA), Retirement Plans Associate (RPA) and Compensation Management Specialist (CMS) designations.

Local Chapter members have access to variety of high quality educational programs and the opportunity to network with other local benefit professionals. This provides a unique opportunity to keep abreast of local trends in the employee benefits industry.   

 Graduates of the CEBS program or those who hold the CMS, GBA or RPA designation, may join the International Society and the Local Chapter. If you would like  more information and/or to become a member, click Graduate Registration.  

If you are a CEBS student, you may join the local chapter.  Student members, click Student Registration  and complete the application or  bring a check for $40 to the next meeting.
